Most monkeys that graduate from Helping Hands are “potty trained.” (By potty trained, we mean that they return to their cage to go to the bathroom.) Then the cage papers can be changed once or twice daily.
Monkeys that are not fully potty trained may wear diapers in a home.
Can you leave a monkey home alone?
Monkeys require attention all day, every day, and unlike cats and dogs, they cannot be left at home for extended periods of time. Monkeys can live for 20 to 40 years, so bringing one home is a commitment to spend a significant portion of your life providing for your monkey’s needs.

Do squirrel monkeys throw poop?
